I have been saving this extended family post until the gallery was ready to send – normally I post a preview on my Facebook page for clients to enjoy and share but there was no way I could narrow this down to just 3-5 images. It deserved its own blog post 🙂
I just love this sweet family. I have had the absolute honor of photographing some really big events for them over the years. And by years, I’m pretty sure its like 7 and counting. Two weddings, engagement sessions, multiple ‘regular’ family sessions! And as a bonus, the last two years I’ve photographed the entire extended family together when they were all in town. I like to joke and think of myself as their honorary family member. They laugh too but they are in for a surprise when one of these days I’m going to legit crash a family get together 😉
Now, I don’t know if you’ve ever considered doing an extended family session. but I’ll explain a bit about how I do them (in hopes that you’ll book one for your family too!) They are some of the most fun sessions that I get to do. I have found that there is a lot of buzz and bookings for these around the holidays! It’s just a great time to capture the whole family together as one cohesive unit while everyone is in the same zip code! I like to break it down to each family unit, grandkids with grandparents, cousins together, and on and on and on until we’ve done every combination imaginable. And by ‘every combination imaginable’, I mean sit down and make a list of must haves so we don’t forget anything in the moment.
So without further ado, I give you the Arquitt’s. Love you guys! <3
